This is an appropriate point to review and / or assess progress and the activities on pages 39-42 of Talk Italian are designed for this purpose. For additional revision / assessment activities.
The following activities could be used for extension work.
Activity 4 could lead to brainstorming of other Italian wines / drinks and / or Italian food, then used to reinforce pronunciation / spelling.
Learners work in pairs or groups to produce their own crossword along the lines of activity 8 for other groups to solve.
Activity 9 could be a model for learners to write a short description of themselves.
